The Ask FACT service is intended to facilitate understanding of the inspection and accreditation process and Standards. Answers and responses do not establish best practices nor include all procedures and practices that an organization must implement. Refer to the FACT-JACIE International Standards for Cellular Therapy Product Collection, Processing, and Administration or the NetCord-FACT International Standards for Cord Blood Collection, Processing, and Release for Administration, as applicable, for a complete listing of requirements. All efforts are made to ensure only answers and responses that are in accordance with the Standards are posted; however, in the event of a discrepancy, the Standards shall prevail.

Answers and responses are not the sole means to meet FACT requirements, as there are many effective mechanisms by which to achieve compliance.
